The Look

Mackenzie Thompson, the film's Director of Photography, wanted a natural look with soft highlights. The grade keeps skin tones honest and lets the highlights roll off gently, while the forest sequences push toward something grungier and dirtier, with muted earth tones and a rougher texture.
